The collection starts with the nostalgia and vibrant aesthetics of the film - Moonrise Kingdom - by Wes Anderson. The boys scout and campsite silhouettes and details provided inspiration for pieces and the colour palette of the collection. The colour palette features black, beigey earth tones, and pops of orange, pink and neon green. 90’s teenage girls’ angst lends the mood of the collection, in which the looks are like an army of teenage runaways in resistance to patriarchal ideas. Skin-tight printed turtlenecks layered under dreamy and voluminous tulle dresses round out the overall vibe of the collection. Original prints and embroidery featuring quotes such as “Shh, no one cares," are developed for this collection to further illustrate the angsty mood of the collection. The collection also features unisex lounge pieces that can be incorporated into everyone’s current lifestyles. The Capsule 001 is a curation of best-selling and signature ALEX S.
